Executive Vice President and Director of Bergamo Acquisition Corp Sohail Parekh, has been working on a solution to help the poverty stricken underdeveloped and developing countries since 2009. After much research, the only possible solution to breaking this cycle of poverty and hunger seems to be to provide an affordable source of energy.
After much in-depth investigation Bergamo Acquisition Corp has come up with a viable solution, and feels that providing an alternate energy source to these countries could possibly help break the cycle of poverty and hunger, which in turn breeds violence and many other social issues. Bergamo Acquisition Corp has developed a Solar Generator for homes, apartment buildings, Government Buildings, Airports etc. Bergamo’s solar generator will provide 1 KVA up to 100 KVA of clean energy. Bergamo also offers a Solar operated tube well water pumping system that is capable of providing from 6000-160,000 liters per hour of clean drinking water. Bergamo’s universal invertors enable existing pumps running on electric power to run on solar power.
Bergamo’s technical team have been working with Government officials, manufactures and importers in Asia, Africa and the Middle East to introduce this state of the art unique product which is several thousand dollars less expensive than the competitors. Both these products are capable of changing the lives of millions of farmers and masses , by allowing them to produce food at a reduced cost, and taking the pressure off an over stressed energy grid. By providing poverty stricken countries with an affordable solution to the food and energy shortage, it will also provide the people with hope for the future .

Bergamo Acquisition Corp is pleased to introduce a Sole proprietary unique state of the art product a solar operated generator and our Solar Powered Tube Well Pumping System developed for use in Pakistan, India, Sudan, Bangladesh and other regions of the globe. OTC: BGMO Solar Pumping System is a proprietary design made to Bergamo’s specifications required to meet the rigorous demands of these types of environments. The January 1, 2010 press release from the Government of Pakistan, states that in the province of Punjab alone, the Government has decided to replace 800,000 Tube Wells with Solar Operated Water Pumps. The total number of tube wells in all of Pakistan is close to 40 million. The USAID department grants 50% of the cost of the water pumps to help Pakistani farmers afford this new technology. This helps in two ways, it lowers the electricity cost to the farmer and helps take pressure off an already over stressed energy grid. Some farmers may self finance this product as it could save them 1000 USD monthly in maintenance and oil expenses. The old technology they are currently using to pump water from tube wells is without a feature to clean water for drinking purposes. For as little as a 12000 USD one time investment they could save close to 240,000 USD over a twenty year period.

a). Upon successful demonstration in Pakistan, Bergamo’s subsidiary company in Pakistan (Bergamo Global Energy PVT Ltd), plans to sell this product either directly through our various distribution centers and sales offices to farmers who can manage self financing with the help of Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan, or borrow funds against their lands or assets to purchase this product.
b). The Government of Pakistan and specially the Irrigation and Power Ministry has access to the USAID grant funds certain funds are allocated to the ministry by USAID grant funds there is a possibility upon approval of the demonstration by the Irrigation. Bergamo can be issued a purchase order for pumps and take advantage of grant funds as USAID department provides 50% grant of the cost of the water pumps to help Pakistani farmers afford this new technology and balance of the 50% can be paid to Bergamo in the form of Sovereign guarantee by Government of Pakistan. In short the company can make direct sale to the farmers and sell its product thru Government of Pakistan as described above.
